Use of Our Embroidery Designs

You must have an embroidery machine in order to use our designs. These are digital files and NOT finished products.
Our designs come in the following formats only: DST, EXP, HUS, JEF, PES, PEC, VIP, VP3, and XXX. All designs include a production worksheet in a PDF file.
We do NOT provide any other design formats.
Our designs are available for instant download after payment is made.

Sharing Policies

By purchasing our designs, you are purchasing a LICENSE to use them. Only the actual purchaser of the designs holds this license. This license is NON-transferable.
You may not sell, trade, share or give away the embroidery files. You may not use our design as a basis to create a new design and call it your own.
You may not alter designs and claim them as your own or sell the altered versions.

You may edit the designs for your own personal use.

We reserve the right to immediately and without notice terminate any account holder who is found to be sharing designs. All design downloads will be terminated. Those violating our terms of use will lose the ability to download files.

Using Our Designs on Items for Sale

We encourage the use of our designs to be stitched on items You sell.
Our designs may be stitched on items for sale as long as they are not mass-produced. The purchaser must personally sew the designs.
There is no limit to how many items you may stitch them on, but designs used must be purchased.
You may NOT use our free designs on items for sale.

You may not claim to be the creator/designer of the designs themselves. Most of our designs are digitized from artwork purchased with the appropriate license.
However, we are not the sole owners of these images and they may also appear on other websites.

Use of Images from Our Website

It is strictly forbidden to use any of our images.

Your Account

Do not share your login or password with anyone.
All downloads are tracked and monitored. If we detect that designs are being downloaded to multiple computers under one account, your account may be suspended without notice and your download rights revoked.

We recommend that you download your designs upon purchase. Unlimited downloads are provided for your convenience only. Embroidery Escape reserves the right to change this policy at any time.
Designs will remain available for download as long as the website exists.

Refunds and Exchanges

Due to the digital nature of our designs, refunds and exchanges are not offered.
If you have difficulty downloading your file or if there is a design issue, email us at info@embroideryescape.com and we will assist you as soon as possible.
Please note that we are closed on weekends and major holidays.

Stitching Issues with Our Designs

All designs are tested for quality prior to release.
If you experience stitching issues, contact us at info@embroideryescape.com and we will gladly assist.
Embroidery Escape is not liable for items that may be damaged during embroidery. A test stitch-out is strongly recommended before embroidering on expensive or final items.

We do not provide reimbursement or compensation for damaged embroidery blanks (e.g. clothing, bags, towels, etc.).

Embroidery Editing Software

Our designs are manually digitized and tested.
We do not guarantee quality if the designs are resized, edited, merged, or opened in software that alters design settings.
If you edit designs using software, it is important that you are proficient with the program.

We are unable to provide support for issues caused by editing or third-party software.

Reviews, Testimonials, and Photos

By submitting a review or testimonial on our website, via email, or through affiliated platforms (such as Etsy, social media, or third-party review services), you grant us permission to collect, use, and publish your review, including any accompanying photos, along with your first name and/or username, for promotional and marketing purposes.
This may include displaying your feedback and images on our website, social media accounts, newsletters, or other advertising materials.

We respect your privacy and will never publish sensitive personal information (such as full names or email addresses) without your explicit consent.
By submitting a review or photo, you confirm that the content is your own and that you have the right to share it, including any identifiable persons featured.

International Customers

We offer our digital products worldwide.
It is your responsibility to ensure your use of our products complies with local laws.
We are not responsible for any customs, VAT, or regulatory issues, although these typically do not apply to digital goods.
